needs to be made to get the DCR-3 ready for the Thump.
NEW: APF
mode (automatic peak finder) will find your cable end
automatically, right after the connection has been made.
If your cable end is outside of the desired
range setting, APF will quickly change your range and end
marker, to move the cable end within the visible area of your
screen.
Available with 8.4"

The Thunderbolt is designed to find sheath
faults on power cables e.g. primary, secondary, street light and
also coated water/gas/oil pipes.
The Transmitter generates a high voltage
pulse (up to 1.5kV) in to the cable under test.
The receiver, with a centered meter, is used in conjunction with
two independent spikes, to locate the fault.
The Thunderbolt combines a
battery powered receiver and an AC powered transmitter, built in
to a sturdy carrying case.
The AC Input is GFCI protected.

The Cable Identification Set
allows to identify/select a single cable out of a bundle.
A transmitter, connected to the
cable under test, transmits unipolar current pulses in to the
cable.
A flexible current probe, connected to the receiver, detects
these current pulses and compares intensity and polarity.
High impulse current up to 55A
Power requirements:
- external AC
- external 12V DC
- internal Battery
Small, lightweight receiver.
Adjustable sensitivity.
Impedance matching for standard current probes (clamp-on) or
flexible probes.
